Not square bills, but when I lived around Grand, I was throwing Rapala SR in either shad or crawdad in the cold water. It will catch them

I LOOVE the old wooden STANFORD lure, square bills, hand made by Dieter Stanford. the bass would KILL them like they were mad at them. Caught many a bass throwing them over grass and shallow water. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Heard 6th sense square have a JV bill on them - can’t take a hit without breaking. Gorgeous baits otherwise. SK is what I started with but found too many of them to not run true at all even after tuning which means they’re worthless so I invested in Lucky Craft and never looked back. Durable, hunt well and dependable.
If you can't find em wind em.

H2O squarebills from Academy. H20 are good but I don’t know if they changed hooks but the last couple I bought hooks Broke. Thought they had vmc hooks. But they are great baits for the money J D
