I'd put in at Twin Dikes.. More open water on the south end of the lake if you aren't sure where you are going

Make sure you know where the boat lanes are and stick to them. Rayburn is a dangerous lake if you don't know where you are going. Also keep an eye on the wind as main lake can get really scary really fast. Plenty of coves to duck into that you could fish all day if main lake is too rough tho

Put in at Cassle Boykin, but first go to Lakeview and get a breakfast sandwhich. Fish around the bridge area then for a while then head back to the ramp for lunch at Lakeview for their cheeseburger. Go back out and fish around the Canyons area. When you head back, stop again at Lakeview for another burger.

I know you said you fish alone, but I've fished Rayburn for 20+ years. I'm not a guide but would be glad to show you around if you'd like to do a trip together. I'm fairly flexible at work so can also get out during the week. Feel free to PM me if you're interested.
