Try doing a demo on the tank the Red will eat everything u throw and break you off.

On Sunday's they will let kids feed the fish, usually a good crowd. for that.

Back when we had the giant alligator gar in the tank in pearland it had to be fed by hand so to speak, and the fish guy fell in the tank. Fun stuff

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

I quit going to Bass Pro Shops when Johnny Morris ruined Cabelas. What a shame that he did that. He has plenty money already, there was no need to destroy Cabelas.

He will never get a dime from me now.

How did he ruin Cabelas? I thought he purchased them and they were still in business doing fine. Just curious!

You might want to do some checking on who really stuck it to Cabela’s to force Cabela’s to sell.

YEP. Morris had nothing to do with the initial decision to sell. It was offered .... and he bought it. Nothing new to the world of business.

Paul SInger was the responsible party.....If you want to call it that.

Yeah getting to see the fish being Fed at Bass Pro is DEF worth going to see!!! Those bass look so fat slow and lazy til that shiner drops in and BAM faster than you can even imagine they have turned, swam 5' and sucked that baitfish in!! I love seeing it any chance I get. And also how quickly they can spit the bait BACK OUT too and re-inhale it!! '

I would really LOVE to be able to throw some hookless lures in there one day... that would be FUN!!!!!

It isn't even close to the store it used to be. Yes they are still in business but that doesn't mean that it is as good now as it used to be.

He could have kept the store and inventory the same as it was but he chose not to. Now it is Cabelas/Bass Pro Shop.

He bought Legend boats. Where are they today? Just curious.

Yup it was a hedge fund that forced that deal. Bunch of folks in Nebraska lost their jobs on that deal. Story was on Tucker Carlson 4 days ago. Paul Singer is the one who made the $$$

I used to go to the original cabela’s in Sidney, Nebraska as a kid in the ‘80’s. I was living in Laramie Wyoming and my friends and I used to go to the bargain basement a couple of times a year back when it really was in the basement. Got some great deals there and still use a rod and reel I got there in 1990. I remember how excited we were when the new big one opened on I-80. Pity to see it get sucked up and trashed. The times they are a-changin’.

It is amazing to see some of these massively rich people just keep [censored] on other people. Their total greed and lack of compassion sometimes amazes me. And I am as capitalistic and conservative as they come. When is enough, enough. Sad. Sometimes Homo sapiens suck
