Do yall think sharpening circle hooks like double actions or triple threats right out of the package is necessary and if so what are the best tools for it

Heck no...the hooks we use are laser sharpened and chemically treated. Once you start sharpening with a file they wonโ€™t hold their sharpness nearly as long. You can sharpen them once they dull but I like to tie a whole new rig including fresh hooks and leaders. I reuse my Rosco swivels but hooks and leaders stay fresh all winter. I will use the same hooks all summer without switching and catch a 1000 eaters but winter time I make sure all my leaders and hooks are in top notch condition every trip.

There is a fine line between fishing and floating around like an idiot!!

I usually check the sharpness after every 2nd or 3rd catch/cast and touch it up if necessary. I only sharpen my hooks once (rarely twice) then I retie when they dull

I usually don't keep a hook long enough to resharpen. TN River is full of rocks and sunken timber.
