Hasn’t been much wind and I’ve been fishing mainly structures in 10 to 30 foot of water not looking for birds or anything and it’s been pretty darn good. Lots of people are getting fish dead sticking but personally I will only dead stick if it’s the only way. One of our guides Mike is still catching his fish on slabs so really it’s just about getting out there in finding some fish that are active. www.sixgillfishing.com should be checked out...incredible rods and reels! Plus they’ve got a whole bunch of new lines of rods coming out and some incredible sales. I’m using sassy shad from www.mtpocketstackle.com and jig heads from www.reaxtionlures.com right now but looking forward to the fluke and bucktail jig bite :-)

I was on Texoma on the 18th, along with four others, with MJ HARTMAN at the helm. We followed birds, ( some of them lied ) for the most part of the day, we did very well along the banks also. Got our limits of overs and good box fish. Weather was in our favor. We also boxed a few fat Sandies, All of our catch were nice and very plump. Plenty of bait. I did manage to catch one Shad on my jig head. That was an awesome fight.
