I've been going to a pond close to work for a year. I have a question. This pond definitely has some 5-8lb bass. Biggest I've caught was 5#+, friend caught a 7, hear a residence caught an 8+
Anyways I have a question. (pond is no love bait). I've seen runs of large bluegls, tons of medium d s al bass, and a few really good sized bass. I had been working on trigs there all summer and did great. With the recent weather changes I'm barey catching anything. What can I do. I've thrown weightless flukes and senkos. No luck. Had a few s. All ones on a crank. Tons of views on Jerks. Just can't seem to get them to trigger a solid bite. What am I doing wrong

Pond bass love small grubs and paddle tails. Get some light jig heads and 2-4" grubs. Fan cast and slow roll them.
The lighter the lure, the slower you can go.
I like to swim it up to a clump of weeds, hold my rod tip up and just let it suspend in front of the grass. The curl tail will move just enough to entice a bass out of the cover.

^^^ Light drop shot with 10lb fluoro and size 2 octopus hook to a 1/4 oz sinker 1.5ft below the hook Small plastic of your choice nose hooked. The grubs mentioned above work just fine.

Very good advise here....I will add finesse jigs fished slowly.
