Short:
May 1949, joined the USMC, 14 yrs old,Too young, got caught and discharged, shortly after joined the US Army, yep, got caught about a yr later, Registered for the Draft w/2 Honorable Discharged .During this time period went to Europe (Italy) worked for Errol Flynn (Security) also spent a few months in Brazil doing rail road security while the capitol (Brazilia) was moved off the coast, came back and volunteered for the draft. The next few years spent in the Military, majorly the 11th AB Div and the 503rd RCT and the 187th RCT (Abn) in Korea, back to FT Bragg to the Special Warfare Canter, (77th SFG). Have been a member of the SAG for better then 25 yrs., married three times, 4 adult children, many Grand and a few Great Grand. Smoke if ya got em

I was in the Army for 24 years, Medic, Flight Medic, Army Physician Assistant. Still work for the Army as a contractor. I once ran 35 1/4 miles and took 3rd place in an all military marathon, I have tandem Jumped with the Golden Knights. I love to fish and hunt, I always try to be around people who know more about something than I do. (it could be ANY skill) I love the movies The Edge, and Gattaca." I blew 2 opportunities to be a Division 1 coach. Long story short I was offered a GA position with North Carolina the year Roy Williams got the job and they won the NC that year. My ex wife refused to move. My boss at the time was good friends with him and helped me with the offer. Same guy became the AD at McMurry and hired Chris Beard there and offered me an assistant position. He told me then this guy is going places, you can stick on with him. The position was the 2nd Assistant position and paid about 15,000 a year. I had two kids and couldn't do it. He is now the head coach at Texas Tech. His assistants are all making in the 500-750k range.

This may explain the silly azz grin on the Kings face.
