Looking into buying a new rod/reel setup for deep cranks. I plan on using this rod/reel for larger cranks like 10XDs and C25s. Any suggestions on rod/reels that are the best for this?

An American Pride 7'11MH paired up with a Lews BB1 Pro is a great set up for throwing deep crankbaits!

I’d try the Dobyns 806 swimbaits rod. It’s got good parabolic action and is pretty versatile.. It’s a good swimbait and a-rig rod as well.

Another vote for the Dobyns 806 crankbait rod. SMOOTH, strong and still has a decent tip and strong bdy. GRET rod for the money. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Dobyns 806 Extreme, Lews Super Duty wide spool 5-1 gear ratio. I have the 805 because I bought it before the 806 came out.
The wide spool holds a ton of line and it will cast even a DD22 a very long way and the 8 and 10XD are even heavier so even more distance with that reel.
