I had a couple of trips on Saturday, but wasnt too sure how those trips would go based on the lower water temps, drastic tides and high winds. The weather warmed up for a couple days before my trips and wind was forecasted to be out of the southwest, so I headed to the Port Bolivar side of the peninsula. We ended up catching 5 bull reds that measured in at 35”, 36”, 39”, 42” and 43.5”. We had 3 personal best landed and one angler caught his first ever bull red. All fish were caught on fresh cut mullet or live mullet (6”-8”) fished in between the 1st and 2nd sandbars. If you haven’t had a chance to check us out on Facebook, please do so.
