Hey guys just want some opinions... so I went fishing yesterday evening for a couple hours. Only got two keepers and put them on light ice/water at about 5 pm. I’d say they were dead at about 6 pm. Got home around 7 and drained most of the water out of the Cooler because I was going to put more ice on when I got home but ended up forgetting. So this morning I get up and check the cooler.. there’s about an inch of ice water (mostly water) on the fish. The fish were somewhat cold but not fully submerged in the ice water. Full ice went back on at 8am this morning. Do y’all think these fish are still good?

If the gills are red your ok.

If they are light pink or white probably not.

I’d say they’re probably ok. I left one in my fridge whole for three days once and am alive to talk about it. bolt

Yep... but it was only 2 fish, literally 20 seconds to clean both...

If they were still in ice water this morning, they are fine. Filet them up!
