Myself with fishing buddies Jeff and Steve fished our favorite south central Texas river. Fished from 10am till 3pm. It lightly rained the whole time and it stayed foggy.
We fished several GPS marked brush piles and caught fish at all of them. Good combination of both Bluegill and crappie. We fished brush piles in 16 to 20 feet of water. Jigs
Chartreuse/Black got the best results. Threw back a bunch and kept some for the dinner table. Fishing on Black Friday. Got to love it.

Now that's my idea of a good black Friday.

Side Note: I met Laker several years ago while crappie fishing with a buddy of mine. Descent young man with a nice girlfriend. They were both kayaking back then. i recalled a few years back that he should post his fish with his buddies. He never did.
Some people are like that. They do not want their pictures posted on a open public web site for what ever the reason. I have a couple of friends also that do not want their pictures posted either. if you are ever fishing the river lakes and see a couple of anglers fishing in kayaks just ask them if anyone is laker or he just might recognize you and introduce himself. As for me I do not mind at all if a picture or two is posted of me on a public fishing forum.

Thanks guys for the replies! Vogey: I have never really gave it much thought about posting pictures of myself. It took me awhile to start posting pictures of some of the fish I have been catching. I might
just surprise you and slip a picture of me holding a fish sometime down the way. I have met several TFF members while fishing the river lakes especially Mcqueeney. I usually wave at just about every
angler who I see while fishing. Hopefully we will meet up while on the water. If you see a person in a Blue or Green kayak with two rods in a holder on the back, who is waving at you. It will most likely be
me. Got a good feeling I will be seeing you on Fayette!

Curtis...over the past few years I have approached many kayak fisherman and asked them if they were "Laker". They mostly look at me with a blank look on their faces, before they ask what am I talking about, or just say no. I was pretty sure it wasn't you most of those times, because we usually fish on opposite ends of the week, but you would be surprised at how many blue & green kayaks there are out there. Go ahead...surprise me or just send a pm...looking forward to it...
