That's my favorite lake. Pitch your confidence bait into boat slips and in between docks. Go on Google Maps and look at the canals, pick some with a lot of docks and slips and fish SLOW!! If that don't work, find a sea wall (in Kingsland on the Colorado) and drop your bait as close as you can get and that should get you bit. When you hook up, don't move, stay in the area and have fun. I had a 22.75 stringer at our October tournament and didn't move fifty yards. Good Luck!!

LBJ is a strange lake for me - I never seem to do any good there, especially since they killed the hydrilla patch at the point down by the dam. I’ve caught them a little on the big peninsula with the clock tower and occasionally uplake in little creeks.
I’ve flipped those damned docks all day.
If I can come out of that place with 10# it’s a good day (I think the best I ever did was 15#ish - most of that was a 6 I caught early).
It’s almost home water for me, but it’s my albatross. I can’t seem to figure that place out.

Your welcome to come fish with me if you like. I mostly have to fish by myself.
