when you have made it a football joke it is. Cows are a fantastic BUSINESS and have become a football joke. Hard to argue that point.
What is your definition of a football joke? Do other teams fit that definition, how many teams? Come on man, take off the blue star glasses. This is THE Dallas Cowboys we're talking about, not the Cleveland Browns!

The day Garrett caught Jerry with a farm animal was a bad day for Dallas Cowboy fans.....lol.
Why would it mean anything to make the playoffs by winning a horrid Division and unable to beat a team with a wining record? Delusion is alive and well in Dallas.
You think it can’t happen but Garrett gets Dallas in the playoffs and Jones gives him a one year contract. Cowboy fans need to pray every game that they will lose.

With all the perks that Newy gets from the Cowboys and his closeness to the team I took his putting his name on the article about despite what Jerry said postgame yesterday supporting Garrett that the team is organization is done with in after this season to be true. He would not put his name out there like that without solid evidence. Newy ain't gonna mess up with cush relstionship by spread falsehoods. It has been well known that if Garrett did not have a very successful season he will be gone, that is why he did not get an extension, What would be funny is if cowboys win the SB, wonder how reliable that information would be.

What he means is franchise hype does not live up to the true state
call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

being both the Owner & GM is a CONFLICT in itself from an Organizational perspective. No it's not, not every one is a "passive business owner", you think he should be, but it is not a conflict managing your own business. IT is if you are running an NFL Football team!! How many GMs have you seen with tears in his eyes after a loss because he has become emotional with his players ? It`s okay for the Owner because any owner loves his players and want`s them to be happy & successful but The GM on the other hand can`t afford to be caught up in that. His position is Where are the Results for the Dollars you`re making. The GM is supposed to be more Bad Cop than Good Cop to the players. He,Jerry, want`s to wear both hats which makes for a too comfortable & lackluster football team. He`s the only Owner/GM in the whole league who`s In love with a man unqualified to be a head coach whom has produced only lackluster results his tenure as head coach. It`s a conflict because he want`s the lion share of the credit and refuses to get a real GM. All the other owners recognize that except the owner of the Dallas Cowboys. The GM is supposed to be the Watchdog of the organization. John Madden once said when the Owner of a Team get`s more camera or air time than the head coach that can be a problem.
