Big thank you to those who recommended the Big Easy.
The turkey breast I cooked was excellent. I used a commercial brine I got at Loweโs. It was apple and sage. Big hit at the dining table.

Very kind Derek. Iโm just passing the torch. I think it was PGR a few years ago that was preaching the good things about the Big Easy and mentioned an Academy sale

I've done all my turkeys in the Big Easy for years, but I think it was TMan who got us started with it. I got mine at Home Depot and it was the last one they had. A bunch of us bought them within a few days and I think every place in the Metro Mess sold out because of us. There is a good cookbook that Char Broil has. Also available at Amazon for under $20. A few recipes are on Char Broils website. Big Easy Recipes

One tip I use -- the bottom of the cooking chamber is cooler than the upper portion so The legs and thighs sometimes don't get cooked thouroughly.
Buy a cheap springform baking pan; throw away the bottom and set the ring in the bottom of the chamber. The basket will sit nicely on that and raise the basket up a few inches. Problem solved.

The newer models (since 2016) of the Big Easy basket have two inch legs that solve the lower heat at the very bottom issue
When I use a diy grill basket or the kebab accessory, I first put in another diy basket I made to raise above the bottom two inches
