Anyone got any cream for Mark Jones? He’s gonna need it Lol, why would this be a bother to me? I have a decade long relationship with Swindle and nearly the same with Palaniuk and wasn't in the dark about this. They'll represent the brands we manage well at BASS as they always have. Every angler needs to do what's best for them in their situation. MLF as already filled the spots with two really good anglers, so this worked out for all involved. So what’s the over under on how many legends return to bass? I’m gonna go ahead and say, Alton, Ike, Lucas, and Defoe will be back to bass after next season if the Elites don’t cut the number allowed or go based on legend points like they did in 2016

Ike is gone, they’re just working out the details. Which sucks because I really enjoyed bass live without him this year

Interesting... G switched from a Triton (white water marine) boat to a Phoenix, Brandon is in a Skeeter. That could by why G switched not brands. With Ike in a Cat and not a WWM group boat, it wouldn’t surprise me to see him make the switch either. I can see a few others switching back as well.

MLF website confirms Thrift and Dudley coming to BPT. So it’s a pretty equal replacement to Swindel and Palanuik.
No way for Thrift and Dudley tp go to the Elites except thru the Opens.
If I were BASS I would raise the number of Legends and add in criteria that lets FLW Tour AOY, Forest Wood Cup.... apply.
Fishing wise...not marketing and media wise.

I think G and B moving from BPT back to Elites is outstanding for the sport, and for them personally... in my opinion, that opens the doors for lots of future changes... can you say "draft",... can you say "super bowl of Bass fishing"...etc... I believe there will be more "experienced" former Elites move back to the Elites from BPT... the "newer / younger" anglers that are growing up with BPT/MLF format will take their place... So,... I personally prefer the 5 fish format over MLF... but, I do like the ability of the Pros to cross over...
Require a whole lot of luck...

Shryock made a stupid comment on his FB page and is getting roasted, well deserved. That was a bold comment from a guy who never really sniffed an elite trophy. I thought the funniest comment on that post was the guy who said “this is why everyone likes your brother better.” I LOL’d.

I’m sure there will be some turnover each year and that’s to be expected. You’ve got 80 small business owners with different agendas, sponsors, income levels and priorities. There’s no real way to keep everyone happy. It’s not the end of the world. Everyone’s going to be ok.
