I'm getting ready to add a house battery to my boat using the Blue Sea Mini Add A Battery System. First question, the battery for the motor is a cranking battery, for the house I planned to use a deep cycle, any issues here?
Second question, I have a perko on/off switch right now that will be replaced with the blue sea system switch. The current switch has the battery pos cable going to it, and two pos cables coming out of it, how can I ID which cable is for the motor and which is to the console (they both run up under the floor)? One of them does have a 20amp switchable fuse on it..
Thanks!

Use a volt meter.
