They signed starting pitcher Kyle Gibson to a 3 year 30 million dollar contract. He had a stellar 4.84 era.

I can see him being a serviceable #3 starter behind Lynn and Minor. (assuming those 2 are still around opening day) .452 career ERA,eats up a lot of innings,savvy veteran. Will be an upgrade over the other 3 thru 5 bozos they had last season. Sheesh.

So is this a good or bad signing? I don't know anything about him so I'm asking your opinion. Not for 10 million a year. His numbers merit about 2.5 to 3 million a year. Another project they hope plans out.

This could be seen as a sign the owners are loosening the purse strings with the new stadium coming. Or Daniels is about to deal Lynn or Minor and is signing their replacement now. Anybody heard what the talk radio guys are saying about the signing?

It aint my money.I'd love nothing better than to see them with a 200 mil payroll.
