Weather really warmed up today. Almost no winds. Made for later top water fun in main channel off of Ramp 7. Lots of surface feeding, but only caught two whites. Called some other boats over. Soon, there were four boats following the feedings. Don’t think anybody got any more. Odd.
Got skunked the rest of the day. Near sunset surface feeding heated up again around the eastern timber shallows of Tom’s Creek. Got another white. All hits were on a Zara Puppy.

It's that time of the year. Some days they just will not hit anything different from what they are feeding on. I will try smaller jigs and get
get down under the top feeding . Thanks for the report!

Nice post. Canyon can be difficult!

Nice post. Canyon can be difficult! Don't say that. I am starting a "campaign" to fish Canyon in an attempt to catch my first Texas smallmouth.

I caught a nice Smally trolling for Stripers at the hump down by the dam thew other day
