Class reply to a douche comment.

Dang man, just pee on his parade why don't ya...

Well do you think a 5.5 pound bass is a monster bass? If you do, you might be related to Mike Ike. LOL

He is always yelling "big one, big one" and it is usually a 2.5 pound bass.

It seems that a lot of you don't agree with me so to yall a 5.5 pound bass is a monster bass? Wow Im sorry that I hurt so many of yall's feelings. I didn't realize we have such a sensitive group here. Time to man up for many of you.
My biggest bass is 11.65 and I did not consider it a Monster bass. It was nice but not a Monster bass.

That is not an opinion. A 5.5 pound bass IS NOT A MONSTER BASS.

[quote=adchunts]Wow. Haters right out of the gate.

I know plenty of fisherfolks that have never caught a 5 pound bass, and to denigrate the OP because you do not feel he is entitled to call his fish is a good one is sad.

To the OP: Thanks for sharing, and don't listen to the jackwagons.[/quote

I don't hate at all. Just stating a fact that a 5.5 pound bass is not a Monster.

If I came on here and said a 2.5 pound bass is a monster would you agree with that also??

Well maybe you should search back a little bit to the thread where I caught a 12.01#. Also I think most everyone on here would agree that a 5.5 is nothing to sneeze at. Like I said in my first response to you. No need to piss on his parade.

I never said anything about sneezing . I just said it was not a Monster bass, just stating a fact.

Check the stats. there are many bass caught over 5.5 pounds that are not considered a monster.

So tell me, what is the smallest weight of a bass do you consider a monster?

If a 5.5 pound bass is Monster to all of you, then so be it. Fish on.

BigSal, you are new here. Someone should have told you that you are not allowed to post a description of your catch without first getting permission to use the wording that the forum police decide should be appropriate. To be honest, from the title I expected a double digit bass. When I saw the video I thought that it was a nice bass but not a tackle wrecker but why should I rain on your parade? I would have been happy to catch that the way that my luck has been lately. I'd never start an forum argument over whether you used the "proper term" or not. It isn't a fact it is a personal opinion and my parents raised me better than that.

Show me where I said he needed a $300-$600 rod. You came up with that and I guess that is just your opinion, right. You can get a quality rod without spending anywhere near $300 for a rod.

For all of you haters, I never said it wasn't a nice fish, I just stated that it was not a monster bass, but if it is a monster to so many of you then like I said before, so be it. To each his own. Ask your fellow angler what he considers a monster bass and see what he says.
