My father ran a rebuilt battery business, and I grew up dealing with them. Guess I'm old fashion, but I just go to WalMart, buy one of theirs, and let them put it on, etc. They normally last at least 4 years. There are probably better batteries, but if there is a problem, there is a WalMart everywhere. I always ran WM batteries in the boat when I had it. Replaced a few under warranty but overall happy with them

AGM are great trolling motor batteries. Duracell Grp 31 are great. High amp hours at 105. Only real downside is weight. Heavy.
