Anyone been on Amistad lately? Headed to Del Rio tomorrow through Sunday and as usual staying at the in-laws. Haven't fished down there since July.

Well no luck with the frog today with the wind but the whopper plopped worked quite well. Also the wife caught her first smallmouth today.

Good deal. Now throw the spook tomorrow; just to see if the change is what they want. Also some of the flats have open water behind the grass. Slow roll a 4.5 swim bait through the shallows. Screw a small spinner in the fat belly of the swim bait. The under spins are just not shaped right to use those and the larger ones have too large of a blade. See if you have the Screw locks, small swivel and tiny blade in willow or colo..
