Just wondering How many use the loop knot for top water or crank baits. I use mono for those type baits. I still use it and love it. Just wondering if anyone else does.

I use a loop knots pretty much on all my lures cept for maybe a spoon. Strong knot and allows the lure to have maximum action. And if tied correctly the tag end points towards the lure which keeps the tag end from snagging grass.
You get out of it what you put into it!

I too use loop knots on top waters and some other applications. I throw mono and with topwaters I still use a glass or composite rod.
