I wouldn't underestimate this suggestion. I've worked for general contractors and home builders for the last 25 years and would prefer a store owner to quickly meet with me and hand me a flyer outlining what services you have to offer. Also a handshake from the owner goes ten times further with me than some sells guy. I'd stop by every concrete and excavation company or job site you see in your area.

Oh yeah Chris, I have mud boots in my truck, when I see a service truck or yellow iron I stop.

We have even made gains in transient employees who move from company to company in the labor pool.

I guess the basic question is , if you are one of our targeted customers and you see a billboard on 635 or a banner ad on a website would either of those stick ?

You don't seem to be getting much help from Napa Corp. There is pretty much no mention of this on Napa's website. I have always associated Napa as just an auto parts store until you mentioned it.

On these mfg's you rep are you on their website under the distributor locator? Let say you sell Parker Hydraulics. I'm looking for a hydraulic pump. I put in my zip code on their site and it gives me the distributors to call.

he has a PR & advertising agency

you need a person who knows how to manipulate Google
& social media
this is the new method of advertising
my brother has done ads on TFF , for a lakeside community at Richland Chambers
you have to be in the right spot & the pro's know how to do that

he loves billboards & they work
he did 1 for a local HVAC contractor
& the phones are blowing off the cradle

Derek, yeah we are pretty much a one off for this area. Our approach will work in other markets nearby I just have to swell up my sack enough to do it.

I have nagged on GPC(Corp NAPA) to focus on HD more but like most major corps they have hearing issues.

Butch , glad to hear positive feedback on billboards. I have really been thinking about lacing 190 PGBT from 35 - 30 with us, now how to afford it.
