Headed out to Espantosa Saturday morning. The day started off slow, we went up river into a creek that comes into the river. Jigged our way around till we found a tree stacked with lots of crappie.



Hooked into a gou that found my jig tasty.








We ended up catching 23 crappie a gasper gou and one ditch pickle.
Headed to motel to get some rest.
Come Sunday we headed out to Averhoff. Headed out to usual spots, turned out the crappie were in the middle of the river suspended in 8 fow. We pulled out 10 crappie from there. Then the bite went cold:( So we moved on up river. We caught 3 more and called it a day.








We kept 11 crappie and 2 nice perch for the freezer. Turned out to be a great weekend.

That looked like an awesome weekend PL and Hubby!!!
I may start foolin' around with making my own hand ties.
Mom and I definitely need a weekend like this!!
