Posting for my brother, this sunday, squaw creek, 11-24
MLF style open tournament on Squaw Creek
Weigh in five largemouth bass at a time as many times as you can throughout the day for a grand total weight at the end of tournament
Any fish brought in that does not measure 14 inches or greater
That particular bag will be forfeited
Tournament will start at 7:20
No fishing in Marina and stay inside bouys until released at 7:20
Last weigh-in you must be in line by 245 sharp
Will be excepting entries at front gate restroom silver GMC with silver and white skeeter until 630
Otherwise you will have to check in with weighmaster at picnic table directly in front of Boat Ramp
All teams can only retain five bass at a time
Will be doing a random Live well checks after you weigh your fish

It was the most fun I had fishing any tournament last year.

It literally ruined the fishing at the lake for the rest of the season. Bummer this is happening again.

This could be the most ignorant thing I’ve seen all week.

Every fish caught swam away.

Aside from relocating the fish, it’s essentially catch and release. One of my fish spent MAYBE an hour and a half in my live well during the time when I was still trying to find numbers.

Were they being fizzed or fin clips used?

I fizzed 2 that got released at the final weigh in & checked for any floaters every time I weighed in.

Couldn’t tell ya. I caught my fish in 10FOW, so no issues with my fish.

My point was, they relocated massive schools of fish. It 100% changed the dynamic of the lake for the next several months.

32 teams with an average (I’d guess) of 4 limits each ain’t exactly a massive school.

Dang. I’d guess the fishing should be pretty good around the ramp the next few days.

That’s a great point lol! Lots of fish to be caught there now. I was referring to last year where there were 50 teams and the average number of limits was closer to 5 or 6 and the winners had 10
