The week started off about as slow as we've seen it on Richland Chambers in the past month. A slick Lake, Bluebird Skies and really light bite made us work for every fish we caught on Monday. Our two boat seven person Group managed only 70 Keepers. Tuesday's conditions were the same but we moved from the 12'-15' FOW range to the 25 ' FOW depth and had a better morning with 42 Keepers for a twosome. Wednesday returned to normal as a Couple from the Lake area easily put 50 Blues and Channels in the box. Oh yea...windy and cloudy makes a difference. We rescheduled our Thursday & Friday trips as the Senior Citizens (and us) just didn't care to fish in the strong North Wind and/or Showers. Yesterday, I ended the week with some great Guys from the Mexia area and we filled the box with Eaters and had a big fish or two. Not sure if it was more the conditions in early week or the fish have just now made a move to the deeper water but all our fish on the last two trips came from water over 25' deep. We continue to chum a bit each spot and all fish came on DK's Blood Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble. If any of this sounds of interest, give us a call. We have lots of openings after Thanksgiving week.
