Had another great trip today. Had a 2 man limit of stripers by 8 am dead sticking white 5" flukes. Caught almost twenty stripers in in about an hour and a half then went looking for sand bass. Caught a whole bunch of small sandies with a few large keepers on slabs and flies above. The stripers and sand bass are grouped on the edges of the main river channel and deep holes near the river channel.

Great Screenshots! What unit are you using? Trying to make a decision on one to buy.
Thanks

today was a little tough but BOBO's Thumper helped . Found em but they were not hungry. The bite was very very light even by dead sticking standards. I am looking for suspended stripers 18-30' (these fish are usually actively feeding) in 40-50 fow around the main river channel. If I don't see fish above 30' I move on and continue to looking. When I find them suspended (like in the screen shots below) I will use the trolling motor to go back and forth across the channel till the graph goes blank then turn around and go the other direction.

Nice screen shots for sure 44. I noticed that your output voltage is pretty consistent. Are the shots with the big motor on? Do you run your unit (s) off your cranking battery?

Most of those were taken while on the trolling motor. Yes both graphs are wired to my cranking battery. When I fish by myself like yesterday I will put my console unit on standby

10-4. I was out Sunday 2ish - 5pm. I figured we might have seen each other. As others have repeatedly stated, great screenshots.

You sure found a mess of fish.

You guys might pull some horse head jigs with curly tails real slow with the trolling motor. In years past this worked when deadsticking did not. When we have warm streaks like this they want a little more action.
Strolling I believe is the term most folks would use.
Whitney is close to my deer lease so after my trips at PK this weekend I may run over to Whitney.

another good trip this morning. Just about every fish is ovr 18". The schools are getting bigger. We found a large group of fish willing to cooperate that was about a 1/4 mile long. We got off the school and instead of looking for fish we headed to the house to watch football. Most of the stripers dropped below 30' and that's when they get difficult for me to catch on artificials. All fish caught dead sticking. The stripers are kinda mixed in with some magnum sandies. Starting to see some skinny long stripers in with the fat and healthy ones
