How do you know your hands broke ?

Wait three days. If it don’t work, go get it fixed.

Hurts a lot.

Go to DOC. Direct Orthopedic Care. They are open 7 days a week. They can XRay your hand without the hospital emergency room headaches or exposing you to everyone who has the flu.

Explaination of incident is needed for diagnosis!

I only know one real Doc here and he aint gonna chime in...legal stuff and what not.

I'm no Doc so here goes! It would take a lot of pressure and I mean a lot to actually break your hand. I assume you're talking about actually breaking metacarpol bones.

From experience, ice it. Take some over the counter pain stuff and if it hurts bad after 24 hours and or you can't move it normally...go to a real Doc and get an xray.

If it's actually broken the pain will be almost unbearable and the swelling will be pretty tremendous. And it won't get better over 24 hrs.

The 2 times I had a broken bone in my hand, one time bone was sticking out, the other time the hand was just oddly deformed. Ah, memories.

Make a fist and press it against a wall. You'll know if it's broke.
