You are right on it was 18 1/4 inches long and weighed just a hair over 3 pounds on the Boga grip not a record so we actually released it so he would make us a bunch more Sandy’s to catch

anyone old enough to remember the huge schools on the surface in the mid 60's

Dad would take a couple of weeks vacation in August , we would fish the OK side near Caney Creek.
