I'm in the market for the Garmin Livescope or Mega 360 and need a graph to go along with either. Cabela's/Bass Pro is running the Garmin 93sv Plus for $599 starting on the 27th. Anyone know about Humminbird Helix 10 Mega sales?

Looking for the same thing. You probably already know, but make sure you get a DI+/SI+ model for mega 360, it doesn't work with regular mega units.

I would bet you can contact MyGreenOutdoors.com (they advertise on here) and ask them what they can do. A lot of companies will not be able to advertise a discount on the G3N units (or Mega 360). the Mega 360 is also going to be tough to get a BF deal on since it would essentially be pre-order becuase the units are expected to be available until December.

I didn't know about the + unit requirement, I thought the regular mega units would work. Arrrrgghhhh. Glad I asked. I'm starting to remember why I hate shopping for upgraded electronics. :-)

I agree on the deals for Mega 360, so I'm not expecting to find anything there. I thought maybe someone would have a sale on the Helix 10s that were compatible, but given they must be + units, I'm sure that's not likely.

I'll call the vendors that were recommended above and then figure out which system to go with.

Just FYI for those who are interested, the Mega 360 is supposed to be released sometime in December, but I heard from one of the vendors that wide availability probably won't be ready until after the first of the year.

Bass Pro is going to have the Helix 10 mega S.I. for 999

I went and looked at that Helix. It's the Mega SI G2N. I would certainly purchase that if it was Mega 360 capable. I just can't understand why the new 360 won't be supported on these units that are not very old. All of the electronics companies should be ashamed to keep rolling out this new stuff without supporting they're slightly older units.

You can get the Tatula 100 on ebay tyd for around $112. TW has the Tatula 100 for $159. If you can get 15% off for Black Friday and add the $25 gift card, you're about the same price so that's a good promotion.

With a software update they should at least be able to support the Mega 360 on the older hardware even if they had to offer an additional box to offload some processing or memory or whatever it is about the older units that isn't compatible.
