Beautiful fish and Congrats to the lucky angler! thumb

However, I do not believe that fish came from Fork. Somebody prove me wrong. Lake Fork is currently more than 2 feet low. Does that pic look like the lake is 2' low? Not trying to start any drama but would like to know the facts.

It was never actually initially said “caught at Fork”. Jordan’s response was “makes me want to go to Fork” or something along those lines. Then the back n forth banter from others leads one to believe it was Fork.

I still would think it was likely Fork...or a Texas lake close to there.

I guess we just need the actual firsthand report! grin

Like I said, no drama here but that ain't Lake Fork shoreline behind him.

Now someone is getting to why I posted this. Kelly used that big fish as a way to promote Lake Fork and MLF and the fish possibly didn’t come from Fork. But post makes little more sense now that I realize I had two gentlemen confused Marc and Mark lol. Either way awesome fish catch and congrats to the angler

Kelly never said the fish was caught at Fork. Nor was there anything said about Marc Mitchell and a guide client. He said that fish made him want to quit bow hunting and head to his HOME lake, which is Fork. The fisherman is a firefighter from Dallas named Mark Mitchell. You guys need to get out of the house and go fishing or hunting. Amazing all the assumptions that were made from the first, incorrect post.

Yes I was confused that’s what I said.

Well I feel a bit better about my recent fishing abilities now. Lol. I have caught one bass in the last two trips to Fork and then saw this and thought man really. Fork is tough right now. Spots that have guaranteed fish this time of year the past several years are just not producing. Hopefully it’s just a matter of time before they turn on again. Great catch regardless where caught!

After reading the post again. It never says it was caught at Fork, it just makes Kelly want to go to Fork.
