My old on-board charger has finally give out and it's time for a new one. I have three (lead acid) batteries to charge, once cranking and two 12v in series for the 24v trolling motor. I have read all the so called reviews, they are mostly advertisements based on features. The Minn Kota PC series seem to the the most advanced and claim to extend battery life. The NOCO's don't seem to be that advanced. I am looking for your comments - good or bad for a 3 bank 10-15 amp automatic charger.

Minn Kota is our top choice as they not only charge your batteries but condition them as well. My batteries now last me 4-5 years.

I have had two different Pro Charging Systems (Dual-Pro) one went out a few months after I left the plug out of the boat (I know I'm the only one that's ever done that) so it's a good bet that eventually was what took it out, so I bought another one just like it and a couple of years later and a few rough water rides (that rearranged my kidneys and bladder) the led's started failing until one afternoon when I got home it had tripped the ground fault to the shop and when I reset it bam the thing flashed as the breaker tripped in my hand. So long story short there is a Minn Kota MK-330D in there now and so far it has held up to the rough water rides and again my wife left the plug out of the boat because you know I would never do that again . So as long as it's a Minn Kota you can't go wrong.

Dual Pro for me.

I replaced my Dual Pro with a Minn Kota from Shut-up and fish. Like the idea of monitoring by charge and temperature.

I used dual pro for years. I still have the charger and it still works but the corners of the case cracked and it gets moisture in side you can see on the site glass covers. I bought the Minnkota 3 bank charger to replace it and I really like it. Batteries charge quick and from what I read it really takes care of them.

I have the MK 4 bank charger that came on my 2019 Skeeter. The charger trips the breaker in my house randomly. I have tried multiple tests and it is an issue with the charger. I charge it up and then unplug it. Seems to be an issue when it has fully charged batteries. I have waited till off season to send it back and have yet to do it. I have read other people experiencing this also. Just my 2 cents

I use the Minn Kota PC 3 bank charger. Had it for several years now. Seems to be working well and my batteries are lasting a long while. That said I don't get to fish too often so I don't drain them down consistently.

I have a Pro Charger that was on my boat when I bought it. Still working fine so far.

About how often do you end up having to add water to your batteries? I leave my boat on the charger 24-7 and just wondered if that will cause water level to get lower from heat/evaporation?

I need to check them now it has been about 6 weeks since I filled them up.
