Wow, had not heard about this new line. Sounds great, may have to try it.

So I went to Tackle direct and then found a link in the Q&A to Ardentoutdoors.com (another supplier/manufacturer). I can get 12 LB yellow spools of Gliss for $4.99 for 150 yards. That is a heck of a deal as normal price is $15 each which is what i pay for other good braids.

IF SOMEONE WOULD LIKE TO GO IN ON AN ORDER, I CAN GET FREE SHIPPING IF OVER $50 ORDER (OTHERWISE IT IS $15 SHIPPING). LET ME KNOW! I CAN SHIP IT TO YOU.

I was actually thinking about getting 10 lb powerpro braid the other day but after seeing most of you are using 15 - 20 lb line it makes me wonder if 10 lb is too thin...

I use green 20lb Powerpro when I use braid.

Another trick with braid is to put it on a bass rod & reel with a 3/4oz lipless crankbaits & throw it about 50 times. It will take a lot of the stiffness out of it so when you put it on a little crappie reel, it will feel like thread & be limp.
