I have lots of scars. They’re kinda like tattoos, but come with better stories. yep, big one on my foot. Pile drove leg in to ground and broke heal. 5 weeks later after mostly heal the doc broke it again and did a sub talar fusion. 5 months later staph and then a skin graft. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/11/full-6989-31032-foot_2.jpg) Damn! How has life been since the fusion? I had a sub talar dislocation and that was a potential option for me, depending on if it was really bad. I was lucky and didn’t need surgery or anything and it doesn’t bother me much.

I don't have any, but my granddad (your Great, RO) did have one on his shoulder. He got it in WWII. He was in the Army. Would never let any of us see it, even kept it from Grandma. None of his kids ever saw it, He was captured by the Germans, and once said it kept him alive in captivity. He was an ornery old cuss, and never talked of the war. He died back in 86, shortly after Grandma passed. Curiosity really overcame my uncles and my mom, and they just had to know. He was already in the casket, and dressed to go meet the lord, but they unbuttoned his shirt and pulled it back so they could see. Couldn't believe what they read:
