Hi guys. I am contemplating getting a Pelican 10e to load into my SB pickup. After long consideration, my main mental problem is getting in and out of the boat. My stability is not the best so this has been my stopping point. Anyone else have concerns about that?

Maybe best to not go out alone in a pond boat for that situation?

I use a float tube were getting in and out is never an issue, unless launching at a steep drop-off, which can usually be avoided.

The boats are very stable. I have a partially paralyzed leg and I get in and out fine. Sometimes, I use the oar to help with my personal balance though.

I would consider getting a trailer for the boat. It is much easier to deal with compared to loading it in a truck. If you are with someone you can load the boat and get in before you launch.
