Checking to see if any of you have this problem and if so did you find a fix for it. I have some of my Soft plastics in the Plano 3 latch storage boxes that prevents moisture getting in and store them in my boat locker designed to hold the boxes. The boxes with Soft Plastics especially the ones that contain salt has a lot on condensation inside the box i have taken the boxes out and set in sun to dry out but they still build up condensation and very wet some of the baits changed colors due to being so wet, I do not have colors mixed together they get so wet that they look mushy I'm sure it's the salt. My boat sit under cover and I keep boat cove on it so there is not any air flowing. I guess I may have to go back to keeping the baits that contains salt in their factory package and in a zip lock bag.

I never had luck taking plastics out of a bag. Same thing....melt, slimy, change color etc. I just leave them in the plastic Ziploc bag they come in and use a worm bag to keep them all together

keep mine in the bags. Got tired of peeling them off the tackle box tray.

I keep mine in the original bags and have several gallon ziplock bags marked with what's inside by color or by bait. This has worked for me over the past 6+ years so I don't think I'll be changing anything soon

Last year I organized all my frequently used soft plastics into plano/bass mafia boxes. Even the bass mafia caskets with the rubber seal didn't keep the water out. All of the boxes have moisture in them and have "inflated" my soft plastic a little bit. They are still usable but I haven't re-loaded the boxes. I'll go back to keeping them in bags and in Rubbermaid containers.

If you take all your tackle out of the boat every trip or store it indoors I think it would work fine. But I store mine outside and keep it covered and Condensation in the boxes is pretty much inevitable.

Air tight boxes is not the key here. I have plastics of all types stored in the usual Plano boxes. Evaporation can get out. Some have been there for 30 years with no change. Once a year I will add my pure extracts to the plastics and they soak up the oils. Fast moving baits get Minnow. Worms get Night Crawler. Creature baits get the Crayfish. Just a few drops and squish them around moving the ones from the bottom to the top.

I have noticed that my baits that are extra oily are pretty much unaffected by water/heat.

Get some 3$ Sterelite tubs from target and put the bags in them!

Same. Seperated by types, ie. worms, swimbaits, creatures.

Leave them in the bags they come in!

I do the same thing and leave them i the orignal packaging assuming it is resealable.

I’ve been using Plano boxes for years with no ill effects, mostly zoom brand of plastics though.

It is the Plano type boxes you are using. As mentioned above, I have soft plastics in regular Plano boxes for 30 years or more with no ill effects.
