Clemson is, and has been, the only decent team in their league for quite some time. They seem to have done ok.

It's gonna have to all play out to the final 4 before I decide who I'm gonna put my money on. The PAC getting so much love is the one that surprised me the most. The way it is now Oregon or Utah has the best path to the final 4 and the only other team from that conf. That is ranked is USC and they are a 4 loss team with losses to BYU and Frank's favorite Notre Dame. They are Utah's only loss. You would think Baylor would be above Utah or Oregon either one being a one loss team and that being to #9 Oklahoma.

I believe that as of today LSU deserves the #1 spot.
We'll see if they can keep it.
As for 2 through 5, according to every strength of schedule rating system Ohio State has a better SOS than Clemson and Alabama but not Georgia.
If LSU and Georgia end up in the SEC championship then it's possible they could both remain in the top 4 but that would mean a close win by Georgia that doesn't sway the committee to drop LSU out of the top 4.
Maybe Alabama will make the playoffs through the backdoor one more time.
Maybe it'll be another 1 loss team.
If given a vote based on what I've seen of the current top teams I'd love to see a championship game between LSU and Ohio State.

PAC 12 is set up to get a team in Utah/Oregon. Bama will probably lose to Auburn, either UGA or LSU is going to lose in the SEC championship.

Clemson has the weakest resume of the top 4, their conf. Championship game with Virginia and rival South Carolina are the only games remaining and will give them A&M as their signature win. But who knows they could repeat as NC Cuz they didn't get beat up getting through their weak conf. Schedule.

I agree, I think the committee has OU fatigue since they have been in 3 of the last 4 and haven'the won a playoff game yet. If the Sooners win out they will finish with more wins against ranked teams than either the Utes or the Ducks but I don't see them leap frogging into the final 4.

I don't disagree. I think we all know that LSU, Ohio SKreet and Clemson are the 3 best. We shall see who the 4th is. Lot's of football to play.
