Is their boat captain one of the the kids parents or relatives? Looks like Scott McCarty was their boat captain. Quite a bag they had!

Congrats to the Van team! That was an incredible sack of fish! Our hats are off to them. Pake and his partner Eric had the 15.66 for second. We had some good practice with a 22+lbs. sack two weeks prior to the tournament. With the lake down almost 2†it was very hard to get into where you needed to fish to compete. We had long idles through thick stump fields to get to our spots and got the boat hung up several times. God blessed us and we didn’t break anything. The fog was so thick you could barely see the front of the boat.

At this level it's almost impossible to catch a big bag and or win without tearing up a fiberglass boat. Unless you're trailering
