A friend will be in San Antonio next week on a work trip and was asking about things to do. I threw out the classic Alamo & River Walk, but what says the OT? What are the things to do, eat and see in San Antonio.

Pearl Brewery Andretti Cart Racing For food downtown - The Palm, Bohanans, La Mansion, The Esquire Tavern (get an Old Fashion) Catch a show at The Majestic (across the street from The Palm) Go up in the Tower Of The Americas, great view from the rotating restaurant A few distilleries close in the area

Eat a meal at Cured (at the Pearl). Charcuterie style food. They have a burger topped with cured pork belly that is out of this world. Good time Charlie’s just north of downtown has great home style comfort food Go see the Alamo and the cenotaph (before the socialist city council has it moved since it is offensive)
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

If he’s a golfer, hit the quarry, I think every golfer should go there at least once

Just do the Pearl thing and then go downtown on the Riverwalk. Should be a nice weekend.

We went last fall it was fun. We went to RIver Walk of course, did a ghost tour a night downtown, the Alamo (like my 4th time but was her first trip there) then we went to that Tower of America or what not that was cool. Lots of small places to get great tacos... we just used yelp and looked for the hole in the wall places. Of course HUGE military town so most places offer discounts for active duty and veterans so if applicable ask about that.
I like San Antonio... Reminds me of where I grew up in LA... be sure to hablo espanol and have fun!
