I have a few members looking for Private Lakes/Ponds to fish for large Grass or Common Carp. Are there private places for folks? If so, what are the names and fees?
Thanks

Plenty of private places with large Carp! None that I know of that allow you to fish

Steve, Fish management companies know the lakes that have them, but doubt they can give out contact information. GL on your search, me and TXMulti will book a pond if you find a viable fishery.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

Any lake could be holding giants - while doing surveys of fish populations you seldom come across large Carp or Buffalo even if they exist in that particular water. From posts on Facebook by TPWD I've seen that they think a 20-30lb Buffalo is a "big one" when there are fish 3x that size in our waters. Something to keep in mind when asking around.
