Impressive that he caught it from a kayak! Too bad he didn't release it

Catch and release. The dream - to catch one of every species of Freshwater fish in our great state! If only I can resist Carp...

Good job by the angler landing that fish. As long as it was a legal catch I hope he did not waste it! thumb

Side Note: I personally would have released it! cheers

Crazy. What a fish. Wonder how old a fish like that is?

Why not throw it in the bed? That an SUV and not a pickup? He does have his kayak on the roof so probably not a pickup. Either way that's pretty funny right there I don't care who you are. Nice twist to the deer on the hood. Can just here it now; Officer that checks his tags, "How far was the shot and what did you use for that, .270, .243, 30/06?" Chris, "Nope, 7ft heavy action with 40lb mono about 20yds out with a chunk of carp."

What a great story to tell. Had a big bull shark pull me around for 15-20 min off the 3rd bar years ago but would never expect to have that experience in freshwater. Like Banker, I would have released it but If he went through all that trouble I'm sure it was utilized; great catch.

Heck of a catch! Especially from a kayak. Congrats

It's only a good cast if you catch a fish...

The comments on that story are beyond idiotic.
