Thanks, patriot. Iโ€™ll be the first to admit that carbs are the cause. Although, my exercise has not been spot on, Iโ€™m trying to ramp that up this week. Out of town all week in ABQ, itโ€™ll be hard to eat the right stuff and lesser of it. My customers like to eat, drink, and be merry. Maybe I just need to retire, haha. As long as I hold below 220 for the time being, Iโ€™ll be happy. I still have until Halloween to get to 210. Not gonna try and expedite the process.....

It was a booger, but I kicked it good with step counts this week. I was also able to get my weight back down to 216. My carb intake has affected additional weight loss, though. I've been traveling way too much to try and lose any extra right now. I want to continue the exercise and eventually lose a pound or two here and there, but definitely be below 210lbs by Halloween. Just pacing myself....

Step Count Total for the Week...83, 654.

It was quite the pitiful performance on step count totals for the week. Had too many other priorities to fulfill and just ran outta time to get it in.

Step Count Total for the week......48,138

I will make up for it this next week.

That's tough. I've been struggling too Okie. Put a couple lbs back on and holding steady there. Still 30+ below where I was at, but 10-15 away from where I want to be. Work to be done...

I bombed out last week on step counts. Only got 55K. I am so ready for things to settle down a little. My eating has really sucked lately. Gained a few LBS but oh, well.....What the smell!

I'm fixing to hop a plane to Denver all week. Steps and eating won't go so well this week, either, I'm afraid.....

Great job, thrashfish. Keep it up. Youโ€™re doing great.

I failed once again on my step count totals for the week.....ended up with 63,571. Traveling is killing my success right now, but I will keep plugging.

Worked my buss off last week but step count total only got to 64,000. I may need to change it from 70K back to 60K. I'm not exercising as much as being too busy with physical work remodeling a home in AR. Also, whole lots of cleaning up of 20 acres in getting the outdoors back in shape. It seems there's no end to it. Nothing like staying busy, though....

My weight is 217 lbs and holding steady. If I'm planning on meeting my goal of 210 by Halloween, I need to crank it up a bit and work on lesser amounts of food intake. We've been drinking wine and eating a little too much and too late each night while we're working in AR.

I never made my goal of 210 by Halloween. I'm staying right around 217. I'm increasing my workouts because I will be eating more food in the next couple of months. My new goal is to weigh no more than 220 on Jan 1st. Then it's gonna be ballz to the wallz. I like to eat too much rather than miss out on all of it during the holidays. I'm now headed out for a 4.5mi walk/jog. Have a blessed weekend.

It's nice to 'think' while eating. We mostly keep eating till we feel full. But in reality, how much food do we really need TO STAY ALIVE TILL THE NEXT MEAT? That will help a lot in realizing you don't need to have another helping of (insert fav. food here), again, do you? For some reason folks eat like it'll have to sustain them for the next week, we don't. Look how big everyone is, overall, walking all around us. TOO BIG. Diabetes is rampant. Look at kids nowadays, kids weren't that large 50 years ago, too much junk food and not enough exercise.
cheers cheers cheers

Exactly, otay...The American way is to gorge yourself at meals and come away feeling so full that you feel miserable. That's one way that I gradually lost the pounds that I have lost (weighed 259 on Jan 1st, 2018) Folks should leave the dinner table just barely satisfied instead of bloated out and ready to pop. Portions were considerably smaller and I ate at the right times. Granted, the holidays and sitting and watching football imposes its own set of challenges, but you must maintain a high level of activity during these times to offset. I am still going to eat more than I'm used to and the wrong foods through remainder of '19, but I'm gonna try and exercise more often. Holidays is da' debil when it comes to weight loss.

I'm hoping to see some of you fat arses make a commitment to yourself and to your family to get healthy, feel better, and live a longer and better quality of life come Jan 1st. Who's in?

Good lifestyle changin',

Nov 10th is the last time that I posted on this thread. It's time for me to get motivated again. Does anyone want to come with me? You can open the door slowly if you desire. We all need to get healthier not only for our sake, but for our families. They may want us around for awhile. I will be back on the posting train soon....it helps me with my own accountability, and if I can influence just one person to get healthier, it's worth it to me. We can even exercise together if anyone is interested. Text, PM, or post publicly, matters not to me. Let's do it together!

I'm embarrassed to say that I've gained 10lbs over the holidays. My weight this morning is 227....ugh! Time to move, boy!
