Hunter Miller caught that fish not me. I took the Miller brothers out and they pull this giant out. His biggest bass ever.

So much fun!! I didn't have a scale in the boat but have caught and seen alot of fish like this.

You are on 'em man - might be time to invest in a decent digital scale if you keep catching a 25 incher+ each trip

The fish was a solid 8 and maybe 8.5. The picture does look like it could be a DD to me but it's not. [Linked Image]
The 25 incher was over 9 but not quite a DD IMO.

We have a scale but I haven't put everything back in the boat yet after maintenance.

They were both caught trolling. Targeting hybrids and caught some big ones too. No tourneys of course. We probably caught more bass than hybrids. Biggest hybrid was about 7 along with several others close to that. But a 6, 8.5 and a 9 plus bass is crazy.

I look forward to this time of year every year. Those hybrids fight like no other. A huge bonus to catch those big bass while targeting hybrids. A little break from the bass fishing all year.

The helix 12 is so awesome. [Linked Image]

Hybrids and bass mixed in along with some sandies.

The fish are almost always on the downwind side of points.

Edited to say big baits.
