Looking for a partner to fish my bass club tourneys with me. Our club fishes area lakes like Lew, Grapevine, Texoma, PK, Roberts, Joe Pool, etc. My son was trying to be my partner, coming back and forth from A&M, but is not able to do it anymore. I have been bass fishing since I was 5, but have just been tournament bass fishing the past 6 years, improving a little bit each year but usually finish top 40% and top 3 finish in a couple a year. I enjoy going back and looking at old Google Earth imagery, studying contour maps, pre-marking a number of funnel points before a tourney, and figuring out new lakes. Will beat the bank from pre to post spawn and during shad migration in the fall, focus a lot on 5 to 10ft depth during transition, and then deeper summer and winter. I have a new 20ft bass boat...sure 'nuf have a boat that is better than my fishing skills! It got a wide front deck, and my partners usually fish up front with me when it makes sense. If you know a lake better than I do, I'm cool with you working the trolling motor and putting us on fish as well, and I work to make sure my partner sticks plenty of fish. Our tourneys typically have 15 to 25 boats, so they don't have big boat ramp goat rodeos or crazy shotgun starts to mess with.

I am looking for someone that is 30 years old or older, non-smoker, be cool if you were on north side of Dallas from a logistics perspective, wants to fish maybe 8 tourneys a year (and wont get upset that we will miss several each year based on work demands or sometimes planned out of state hunting trips in Nov - Jan), someone that will chip in a little gas money each tourney. For lakes that are close to DFW, I try and pre-fish those if schedule allows. Would prefer that you have tournament bass fished at least a little bit before, or solid bass fishing from a bass boat experience. Open to everything else. PM me if you have any interest.

Interested. Definitely over 30. No problem pitching in for cost. Understand that well. Do you have club dates and rules?
