All depends on what lake you are fishing.

CCTX and I fished Lville on Sunday. It was slow. I had 3 bass and he had 1 for half day of fishing.

Caught one on a square bill and the other two on a very slow moving craw bait. Water was colder than I thought it would be... was in the mid to low 50s already.

put in at Athens yesterday around 7:30am, fished 5 hours, 2 small fish. Normal patterns of grass lines, points, flipping docks and little to show. One of the worst days I've ever had on Athens.

Wow, I didn't realize it was that bad out there. Wild. With the temp drop, I wouldn't think it was algea still causing the fish kills. Those fish all look recently dead. Fayette has had a tough couple months with fish kills.

It has been a challenge at times. We went from a long extended Summer into October. Then we skipped Fall and went straight to Winter weather. Temps on Fork in a week from 81° to 65°. 65° is prime for Fall, but it shocked the fish and they didn't bite until they adjusted and the water temps came back up a little.
