Bought tires for my wife’s car on amazon prime. Took them to a local shop for mount and balance.

I can usually talk them down about 25%... sometimes 50% or more If so, you can talk white outta rice.

Our local DT sucks. Had to go there because the tires from a vehicle we acquired were under warranty from there. Service was terible and if you did not get there 1.5 hours before opening you would have to wait half the day.
A buddy owns a competitor - Discount Wheel and Tire and they also have partner stores nationwide. Free mounting/balancing and flat repair for the life of the tires.

My son is a Manager for DT. They are an awesome company to work for. They paid 100% for his stroke he had last year. I will not use anything but DT from now on.

On a good day they will throw in the "certificates" or offer a buy 2 get 2 deal on them. Also had them put the "fleet" discount on my purchase before.

They will come off their price. I usually go in and ask them "Can you get me outta here for less than a grand. with taxes?" And that is on tires that are usually in the $200-$220 dollar range. By the time you add disposal, mounting and road hazard, a grand is a pretty good deal and they usually get pretty close.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

Find you a mom and pop shop that does good work, usually they will blow DTC out of the water. Plus you won't have to put up with any BS about rope plugs ruin tires, or a tire is not safe and we can't work on it, etc.
