Today, Duc takes the thumper for a test to see if it works in Kansas City Area Lakes. He is on lake Viking in Late November 2019 and the evidence is clear, in 5 minutes of thumping, fish are drawn to the thumper. Duc stays in one place and brings in a boatload.

After watching this video, if you're not convinced thumping works; you're not ever gonna be convinced. Enjoy the video. Tim

All it took was one trip to Texoma! Glad he was able to catch them but can’t say I’m surprised!

Been thumping for 8 years . The looks and comments received at first were less than favorable.

Good video on thumping and catching, Tim and bro Duc! Those whites are quality bigs. I was in Salt Lake City, UT back in May was was amazed seeing ppl catching good crappie, whites and wipers on the high altitude lakes as well. Good learning for all of us. Thanks for sharing.

Now, that's a veteran thumper right there, 8yrs. I got introduced 2 yrs ago from Bob Maindelle (Westpoint engineer); and been hooked ever since. People still look at me funny, but that's nothing new smile
Thanks for your comments. Tim

Todd:
Wow, out there in UT. Your use of "wipers" tell me you must originate from the northern parts ???

Lol. I am southerner all my life. I speak what the locals use (empty my cup and become newbie when i explore new places) . I am aware folks in Nebraska, Utah, Colorado call hybrids wipers and wipers get big due to very deep lakes. Popular bait to catch wipers is mussels i was told.

Whew, I thought we had an imposter on board smile The first time I heard Wiper was from my brother Duc (Kansas boy). I told him that's a fish man, not a car windshield part. Thanks for your kind comments. Tim
