I am heading up to a buddy's land which is about 20-30 minutes west of Toledo Bend so I was hoping to get out there and do a bit of bank fishing in the mornings. Does anyone have any spots that they like around Route 21 that they wouldn't mind sharing? Also, what sort of lures do you folks find works best there?

You are going to be limited fishing from the bank, I would try the Indian Mounds and Housen boat ramp areas. Redbug trick worms have always been good for me.

Lake is really LOW right now so not sure how good the bank fishing options would be. Lake bottom may be firm/dry enough now to walk out some. I don't know the lake that well though so hopefully some others can post about better options!
