So I'm looking into getting my ECU flashed to bump HP some.
Mercury 90HP 2 stroke. Not sure the exacts til I look but it's an Optimax something.

Has anyone been successful in doing an ECU flash on a 2 stroke and if so who did you use?? So much stuff online but honestly not helpful. I've sent several emails to those companies but usually get a "no" reply pretty quick.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the recommendation Steve! I talked to Simmons(some girl as Eric wasn't around) and she said they could flash it to 120HP from the 90. That's a 30HP increase which I would hope equals a 5-10 mph increase and better fuel economy by running at a lower rpm when not in a tourney. The boat is rated to a 135 so not overpowering it or anything.

Doing some math based off formulas online-
current boat "loaded(estimation with fuel/gear)" is 2600lbs ÷ 90 = 29lbs per 1 HP
Upgraded motor added in- 2600lbs ÷ 120 = 21.6lbs per 1 HP.

$675 ÷ 3 = $225 per 10HP gained.

Might have to reprop from a 19P to a 21P but that is still TBD.

the re prop (up in pitch) is where the increased speed will come from.
