Depends on your age.

Yes. I got it done about your age. Since I needed reading glasses, I got mono vision lasik. One eye (dominate) sees distance. The other I use up close for reading. My brain decides which eye to use and I see fine. Totally ditched glasses.

Great Decision. Highly recommend it.

Just wait a few more years until you get cataracts. The cornea replacement is much better.

If you can swing the full lens replacement price it's the way to go. 20/20 or better the rest of your life.

I got it done in my early 20’s and it’s been awesome! Had about 14 years glasses free now. I’m not sure at you age what the answer is. I’d imagine it’d still be worth it but you may need some cheaters.

Not sure at your age. In general though my answer is yes. One of the best things I've ever done. I only wish I would have done it earlier. I waited until I was about 33.

If I could do it then I would in a heartbeat. Unfortunately due to my astigmatism, and other problems the only thing I can do is a full lens replacement with some special type of lens. When they gave me the $9,000 price I passed. They said I might still need glasses too.

Congrats. Make sure to pay attention when the doc describes the indicators of a detached retina - if it happens you will need to get corrective surgery immediately to prevent loss of vision.

I had mine done at 48. Wish I had done it sooner. I still need/needed reading glasses as I did not go the route of fixing one eye for distance and one for close reading. Was concerned about depth perception.. Now 14 years later my vision has slipped a little. Eye doc said I'm not eligible for a "correction" as I have the start of cataracts. Now have to wear a weak prescription and wait of full blown cataract surgery.

Had it done last year, age 28. That was one very weird surgery.
